Welcome to Chikae the Murder Capital of America
Welcome to Chikae the Murder Capital of USA, a tee shirt design from street artist T-Shirt Maniac. In 2021 Chikae was immortalized in the song by Sufjan Stevens of The National Anthem. He was also profiled in the New York Times article “I Wanted a Husband” with a description of his dysfunctional relationship and volatile home life. His story is quite compelling and many internet users want to know how to get to Chikae.
You can visit Chikae through his website which contains a map and photo gallery. Here you can buy his tee shirt, wrist band and poster. A cool part of the website is a constantly updating gallery of photographs and images featuring Chikae as well as some of his victims and/or accused. Some people are just glad they could witness the murder first hand and partake in the revelry of the locals. It’s like going back in time, or at least, as close as you can get to it without actually leaving your living room.
One thing that is missing from Chikae’s website though is a FAQ page. Unfortunately the one question on the tee shirt that wasn’t answered on the author’s blog is, “Why is Chikae the Murder Capital of America?” There are a few reasons to why he picked this location for his wicked get ups. Since the tee shirts have a say about what you wear and what you mean by yourself, the murderabilia is a perfect way to get in touch with your inner devil. A lot of the artwork is supplied from tattoo parlors all over the country and also on designs posted by members of the “Chikae Network”, an internet based community dedicated to stylish dressing and high style.
