People Think I’m Nice – Until They Sit Next to Me in a Basketball Game

The thing is people think I’m nice until they sit next to me in a basketball game, shirt off their back and say some thing stupid like “wow thats a really nice shoe.” The first time I experienced this kind of thing it made me mad. Then I thought to myself “hey I guess people think I’m nice because they think I’m wearing a T-Shirt with Nike on it”. I’m not sure if they have ever been to see the T-Shirt and know its good or not but its fun to wear something people think is pretty cool.

There is nothing more annoying then a complete stranger that thinks you are better than them. If you look down on them and call them names or make fun of them, its like the banana peel. Its just embarrassing and unproductive. All you need to do is smile and say thank you.

If people think I’m nice I will be good to them. If they think I’m not they will try to get away from me. I’ve learned not to take offense when someone says something to me. I will simply walk away from a conversation or respond to the question with another question. People think I’m nice because I have a T-Shirt and a basketball jersey.
